My yahoo groups account is not popular. Could you check it out and see whats wrong? And PLEASE join, I'm begging you! I really want my group to be popular. Thanx. Tell me if you like it.

Well, you have a good picture for the Group, which is a good start.  But your Description (and Title) could use some work for your Group to appear in more searches (i.e. so others can find your Group more easily).  Remember that people do searches on key words, and the Groups search engine will search a Group's name, a Group's title, and a Group's description.  Yet you don't have very many key words in those areas.  You should include more of a description of the show in your Group's Description, and maybe add a Title to your Group as just the name of the show (because I noticed your Group wasn't in the search results when I searched on just "PrinceofTennis"; I had to search on "ThePrinceofTennisGroup" to find your Group in the search results, but I don't think very many people will do the latter).

Another way you might be able to grow your Group's membership is to e-mail all your friends and family telling them about the Group; don't forget to put the web address (URL) of your Group's home page in the body of the message.

Finally, remember that no Group becomes popular overnight.  It takes time to build a large membership.

Try and make your group look smart by choosing custom colors and a good photo.   Also make sure your welcome message is good. Click edit beside description on your cover page, scroll down and follow the prompts to do that.  make up an invitation of your own describing your group in detail, paste the URL into it then send it to all your friends and relatives and ask them to forward it on to their's.  Periodically post a message on your board reminding your members that there is  always room for more. it takes time and effort  to build a good group, good luck.  edit:  I see Michael L continues to use much of my message which I have posted several times in the past for promoting a group. Thank you Michael L,  imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.  Just an afterthought, try and get your site linked to others you could reciprocate by putting their link with  HTML codes including their logo on your cover page.  Remember too, it's often not the number of members that make a group good it's participation by your members with photos, files, links etc.  If you look at my group below you will see what I mean.
