  1. That depends on what it was bolted to before, this transmission was used from 1964-1981 when it was modified to have a lock up converter and re-named C5, that was used until 1986 when it was replaced by the AOD.  If the transmission was originally bolted to a Windsor V8, an in-line 6 or a Cleveland engine it will bolt to your Cleveland.  If it was originally bolted to a 351M or 400 it will not, they use the same bell-housing pattern as the 429-460 engine family.

  3. yes it will, it went on the winsor then the cleveland and I upgraded to a c-6 when i went to a 429

    c-4 go's on a pinto

  5. a 351 will kill a stockish C4 in short order. Go with a C6 or a built AOD.
