If i cannot claim this tell what i can do to get a title such as duke etc etc etc please answer

  1. Nothing ventured - nothing gained as they say.  Yes go ahead and see if you can claim it!  Good luck

  2. Yes!So get the evidence and you can become Earl take to Parliment!

  3. That would be for some one that is a Historian in the Family of Aristrocracy genealogy field. If you have determined such a line, it might be possible to claim. I am trying to get more information on my grandfathers side. So I understand why it is so important to you. Good luck. Ask an Earl in England what to do , befriend one and than see how they can help you.

  4. No.You must be in direct line of succession to have claim to any titles.

  5. You can do this by deed poll if you really want to.  Youcan become Earl (Your Name) of Norwich, then legally have your drivers licence and passport in this name.

Go to this site for moe info:-

Hope this helps and have a good day.

  8. The title of Earl of Norwich was created several times in the Peerages of England and Great Britain. It was created firstly for Edward Denny, the 1st Baron Rose, in 1626 and met extinction upon his death in 1630. The second creation was in 1644 for Lord Goring, a prominent royalist commander in the English Civil War. It became extinct with the death of the 2nd Earl in 1671.

It was created again in 1672 for Lord Howard of Castle Rising, younger brother to the Duke of Norfolk. When he inherited the title of Duke of Norfolk from his brother in 1677, the title merged with the Dukedom, but became extinct in 1777. The final creation was in the Peerage of Great Britain in 1784 for the Duke of Gordon. It became extinct along with that title in 1836.

Note: Peerage titles that were extincted can only be used again if the Queen decides to recreate this title and bestow it upon you. You cannot claim any peerage titles once it becomes extinct or it has been reversed back to the Crown. Titles usually became extincted because there is no one else from that family line to carry on the title, which means you were not a "direct" descendant from that family line. In other words, you probably don't have any claims to the title "Earl of Norwich."

  9. If you're really serious, and can document your lineage with authentication, you can apply to the College of Heralds in London who will investigate your claim. It will cost quite a lot, so be very sure before you apply. Incidentally, Mary Tudor was Henry viii's daughter by Catherine of Aragon.

  10. Learn to speak English first.............the British royalty are already an embarrassment. Then, forget about it. What is the deal with being a duke? Who cares...........you get more girls being a duke?

  11. You have to be born in the UK to claim nobility there.

  12. i am related to george the 3rd so that would make me an arestircrat.

you would be too, we should have a tea party sometime, te he he. im joking.

i think you would have to be directly related and still very high up in the social class, preferably upper middle.

i was interesten though, what site did you use to trace your family tree because i would love to know more about mine, i know my family come from winsor castle, but not sure much beyond that.
