Well done Sally Mclellan and Anna Meares!!! Go Aussie!!!?

Big congrats to both girls. Sally wasn't a very big hope of getting into the semi's of the 100metre hurdles never mind the final by alot of people. She was a wild outsider but the athlete with the biggest drive i think and thats how she won the Silver. I watched interviews with her and yep she's a typical Aussie chick, knows what she wants and nothings gonna get in her way to achieve it. She deserves this after dedicating 5 years to her goal.

Anna Meares fractured the no.2 Vertebra in her neck in January this year and was 2 millimetres away from being a Quadraplegic. She fought back and won silver in the Cycling.Thats what i call determination and true Aussie spirit. Hope they both have the best night celebrating. Who else thinks so?

Sallys silver. what a magic moment for Australia. Couldn't have gone to a better person. I do feel sorry for Lolo who hit the hurdle though but that's how hurdles goes.

And Anna Meares. Makes me proud to be Australian.

Sally was just so humble in winning any medal and she truly showed her youthful innocence and loveliness.

And Anna got her silver lining too after a tragic accident. I think she also knew the Aussie Amy Gillett who was tragically killed by a driver who crashed and hurt five others in Germany.

After Mclellans silver, im not really fussed about were we finish on the medal tally, this race made me relise its about being proud rather than gready xD
