None of the top 4 seeds in the semi-finals! Zheng set two records too! First Chinese player to reach a Semi-Final of a Grand Slam and first Wildcard to make it to the Semis. Congrats to her. Lots of upsets this year, and I'm loving it!

good for her. She worked hard in all her matches and her hard work payed off its also nice to have a few upsets! I also think she is great role model for young tennis  players as she has shown all that you don't need to be seeded to have success you just need yo have heart and belief.

Ranked 133 and in the semi-final of Wimbledon what a performance.

Mens tennis is heading towards a repeat final of last year but no doubt women's tennis is become more interesting.

Suddenly a new face in the later round of a grand slam. That's why the game is very interesting. When you start thinking that tennis is getting to be a bore, WHAM!, surprises like these slap you in the face.

I am really happen for Zheng and the reason is - England has for so long being putting a lot of their players who aren't good in the tournaments and people who are better were being left out.  This year they changed it a bit and include people who have being performing well.  Zheng has always been a good doubles player but never got the change to play in the singles matches because of the reason mentioned above so this year she wrote a letter actually begging them to allow her to play and they did.  What a break through for her and tennis in general.  I hope from now on they give pass to people who can play and for that reason only.
