He was featured on African American Lives, a PBS special.  Professor Henry Gates assisted him with having his DNA tested.  It gave a racial and ethnic breakdown.  I can't remember the exact racial percentages, because the program focused on his African ancestry.  His ancestry was traced back to 1-2 West African tribes.  The show documented his visit to the tribe with Dr. Gates.  I know that other people that responded to your post commented that Genealogy referred to dead ancestors.  But your parents and grandparents are ancestors, aren't they?  Best wishes.

Tucker's ancestry is 83 percent Sub-Saharan African (Black), 10 percent Native American, and 7 percent European.

His family have been in the USA for 8 generations since 1830s so in those 8 generation were 510 recent ancestors  who lived in America including his parents.

Out of those 510 Recent Ancestors:

423 were fully Black

51 were fully Native American

35 were fully European

1 was Mixed (70% European & 30% Black)

This question really cannot be answered.  Unless he had DNA testing done for which the results just happened to be posted online for everyone, you cannot know his percentages of this or that.  Also, unless you do his family tree all the way back to the beginning of time AND can prove which ancestors were black and count them all up, you cannot know how many people in his ancestry were black.
