Well i have a lava lamp and the lava that's in it is not working right. the color of the lava is blue.

and the lava should be one color but its 2 colors pices of light blue and dark blue and it also lookes like its a little fluffy inside. Can any one help me?

They take about 4 or 5 hours of being turned on to start heating properly and getting to thier full potential

i have the samething as you and that's just what it does. it depends where it is in the light.  and the fluffyness is part of it too.

Hi, The lava takes awhile to heat up so if it hasn't started working after 4-5 hours then the element is probably broken. The light heats up the element and then the lava expands causing it to rise. Hope this helps.
