Well i just found out i can cross over to Mexico for a week but i have a younger sister shes 15?

could she just use a birth certificat cause she dont have a picture id ???help???

Mexican law requires that minors under 18  not accompanied by their parents have a letter of permission from their parents.  Letter needs to say the  that YOU hae permission to take her out of the United States, to Mexico.  Must be signed by both parents and notarized.  See site below and read section on "Minors" under "Important new information."  Minors are not required to have photo I.d., but I think it is wise ...can take her to DMV and get a state I.D. card.

It's cool man you don't have to use the "She's my sister" story. It's mexico, I think legal is 8 or 9. I know they SAY you MUST have a picture ID, but a) shes a minor and b)What are they gonna do not let her back in?

I'm 17 i cross back and forth all the time alone, i just show my birth certificate and any id available
