Well... i started school and my friend is wearing REALLY punk clothes and shes trying to make me jelous.help?

okay... look my friend is really preppy but she is starting 2 wear all these punk clothes,,, and she paints her nails black! shes only doing it to p**s me off... im not mad im just tired of her pretending to be stuff... AND THEN, like going out with really cute boys for somthing shes not... help me... what should i do with her? please answer this one... i never get any answers :(

Is it all an act, or is your friend trying to figure out her own personality? Teenagers do that sort of thing. Experimenting with different clothes, music, friends.

Are you looking for help in how to talk to your friend about how you feel regarding her clothes and appearance, or are you jealous that she's dating "really cute boys"?

If she's really trying to make you jealous, she's not a very good friend, and you should just dump her.

EDIT: If she' trying to make you jealous, she's succeeding. By the way, how do you dress?

If she's trying to make you jealous, don't let her. That is what P!sses them off most. Do something to make her mad...if you want. Just don't let her get to you. She's being immature.

ugh punk is not a fashion. its an additude. you and your friend are both posers but if you really are this worried about ur friends clothes just do this. wear a preppy but hott outfit and she'll get jealous. and when shes wearing the g*y punk outfit call her a poser.and ******* none of the **** u wear is even a punk style even though its not a ******* fashion

hmm..i've had friends like that. i'm the 'emo kid' of my school, which i'm not emo..i kinda dress like it so everyone assumes i am. anyway, alllll my friend started too dress like that after me, maybe its because she admires you? or because shes jealous of you? you could do what i did, just give her a piece of your mind. tell her how you feel about it, because you might lose the friendship, but a friend like that might not be worth it. and if she is a good friend, it'll take time..but things will fix itself.

DO NOT think she pretending.  I did the same thing and I was pissed and shocked to find out all my friends were saying i was emo and sh*t. She is going through a phase or stage in her life to find out who she wants to be.  Do not critize her for it.  Who cares if she is going out with super duper hot guys?? You should be HAPPYYY for her!! Sounds like someone is a little jealous.... :]

ok well just because she is a poser your probably not the only one who has noticed her humiliating act of trying to get attention it sounds like she is changing because she may be attracted to those punk kinda guys. i mean if you really liked a guy wouldn't you try to impress him. well that is what it sounds like to me. i cant really say a whole bunch because that is what my friend shelby is doing and all i told her was that is not you so why try and she stops altogether the started to be her own self again.
