i do not think so cos a friend of mine filed a similar case and the process took her only 10month ans according to the USCIS cases like this take only 13 month-15, i also asked if i could apply for a visa for him when i come to Nigeria what is the probability he will be granted a visa to come with me to the state, and i want you to prove to me that the process is going to take that long and why are you ideas different from the USCIS........

  1. There are quite a few variables in this question. First, it depends on where you are filing the papers. Different US Embassies for some reason tend to take longer than others. Second, it should only take 2-4 months for you to finish the I130 part. However, after your I130 is approved you must wait until you are issued interview dates and so forth for the actual visa. I went through the entire process for my wife and from start to finish it took us around 6 months. I have also had several close friends accomplish the process within that amount of time. But remember that processing is on the case by case basis. If there is some information that raises the investigator's attention, approval could take longer.

Do not worry, the process is relatively simple, just follow everything they tell you and be sure you provide all the supporting information you can. Its always better to give them more information than they require than it is to give them the minimum or omit anything. Good Luck!
