Well im running a meet this Saturday for Cross country for middle school And i need to know what to eat?

Yeah i want to know what to eat before i run the meet so i can be ready please give me some good answers because i'm 1 of my schools fastest runners and need to get a good place

  1. it all depends on ur body but if ur like me i eat meat 2nd night before a race to build up protein and eat noodles (spegeti) the day before the race to build up carbo. the carbo. help build up engery for ur body. and eat light for breakfast if it's not a school day like toast with peanut butter or jelly and water/juice dont drink milk that ruins ur running. but if it in a school day eat regular breakfast but lunch eat smart pb and jelly with toast and banana and juice/water DRINK LOTS OF WATER!

    before a race drink some water 1 hour before u run and stop and 30 mines before u get rdy take little LITTLE sips to get the quis of trist away AND RUN! lol hopes that help  


  2. okay you need to drink a lot of water and powerade also eat gronolas bars and all of that no fatting foods! or milk!!

  3. carb it up! hah..eat pasta light on the sauce the night before or just something high in carbs ..two nights before eat something rich in protein like salmon or steak.
