  1. It's up to you..........but just between you and me........have the ability to get to the water if ever needed.....what a wonderful gift to have water....in times of need..........good luck

  2. it is legal to do what you want . but is it practical  ? i am guessing you use the well for your water supply . how deep is the well ?   will the pump when needed to be replaced  will it require a well rig to pull it out ? Is the welll deep and down on galvinized pipe or ridgid pvc ? if it can be pulled out by hand and it is down on poly pipe ? than you for example would you want  100 - /+ feet of wet dirty  pipe laying through out your home  ?i  would strongly urge you not to do that if it all possible  , if it is down on ridgid pipe  and say its down 220'  you will have to remove 10 or so  21 'lengths of rusty wet old pipe through an access hole in your new clean finished home ? at 21 feet you might need an access through the roof to do that  . just seems like  alot of work . can you move where you want to place your  aqddition ? is it possible to drill the well in another place ,it might seem expensive initially but if you have to set up a tripod and remove well that way it will surely be expensive . just some things to ponder

  3. Certainly you can..You can cap it off if you don't want it functional..You will then have to run your own piping  to the city water meter though..they do not pay for the plumbing on your side of the meter to the house..but yes..if you don't want the well you can do whatever you want with it...
