Morning Doc, I have aired my views on this, it is soooo frustrating, the general public must feel their hands are completely tied, and to read about the sickening amount of profits after such a high increase in the cost of the gas, you just want to pull your hair out, here in Ireland, my average gas bill is about 80 to a 100 euros every 2 months (about £70.00),

Yep, I still prefer to live here, 3 years and counting

That is the winter months in the spring/summer about 45to 60 euros for the two months.

just think what that money could be doing to help the country if it hadn't been sold off by Thatcher's Tories in the 80s. that and BP,BT, Water/Electric companies, British Steel/Coal..... did I miss any? The bill prices could be lowered and still generate good profits to help keep taxes down. Utilities especially should be state owned so that they are a service to the people not a cash cow for the rich shareholders to further bleed money from the poor. Prices keep going up as do the ridiculous profit margins and the bonuses for the top executives.Thank you Maggie for raping the country's wealth.
