  1. reading will improve it a lot, and you should write short stories on word on the computer because the spellcheck will help you see what mistakes you make, and correct them!

you should also try using the grammar books that elementary and middle school kids use, they are like workbooks and help soooo much!

my teacher recommends this when we are having problems with spelling and grammar.

    good luck!

  2. Genie is right. Reading sure helps a lot. You may start with the newspaper or books that interest you. It may also help if you read with someone you are comfortable with and has good grammar. After every page or chapter, you may both discuss the important points you just read. This will help your oral communication and comprehension too. Then you can write your thoughts about the story or article, which your friend will correct later on.

You may also make your own diary and compose letters then have them checked by a friend who knows grammar and spelling well.

I believe it is wise to save up for reading classes where a teacher can work with you one-on-one for reading, grammar, spelling and comprehension skills at your own pace and where all the reading materials needed are available.  This is what I do for a living here in my country.

For now, I suggest you read, read, read,  watch  good programs on tv (like the news, if it's interesting for you :)) and talk often with people online or in person who will willingly correct you if you make a mistake. I don't know if there are grammar and spelling lessons online for free. You may start with those if you cannot afford reading lessons yet.

  3. Try going to Tutoring classes. I know in Australia we have a nationwide service that helps people who cant read or write maybe they have the same in the country your from?!
