Wellington, New Zealand???

Hi. My partner and I are looking to re-locate to NZ from Australia and will be renting when we get there. Was wondering what stores are around to help quickly and simply furnish a place. In Oz we have fantastic furniture that allows you to fully furnish bedroom, lounge and dining for under $2,000.00. Is there any place like that in the Wellington area???

In Petone there is Jackson Street and there is a lot of second hand stores to check out, if you have a computer try http://www.trademe.co.nz and one can find some good bargains on this, hope I've helped.
