Welliton believes Spartak Moscow deserved more against Zenit St. Petersburg: Russian Premier League
Spartak Moscow striker Welliton marked his return from a suspension in the latest Russian Premier League encounter, against the league leaders, Zenit St. Petersburg. The Brazilian national has expressed his thoughts after the mouthwatering clash at Luzhniki
stadium.
The Brazilian forward was not involved from the start but came on in the second half to score an equalizer. Welliton highlighted that he is enjoying top form at the moment. There is little arguing that statement as he has scored eight goals already this
season.
“Our team attacked Zenit, the entire match and created good chances. We interacted well, but could achieve only a draw. Well, this is an acceptable result, although we deserved more. I wanted to start the match but was not picked up by the manager.  I went
