Wells Fargo College Visa Credit Card?

Question

I have a credit score of 700, and I was just wondering what my chances are of getting approved for the Wells Fargo College Visa Credit Card. I don't want to apply if there is a good chance that I am just going to get denied. All answers are appreciated, Thanks.

The credit card companies love college students as clients. They tend to spend more than they can afford and max out their cards. So, the credit companies just rake in that minimum monthly payment at about 18% interest.

I saw a documentary about personal debt in America and it was pretty disturbing how easy the credit card companies make it for people who are buried in debt or who have a bad credit score to get even more credit cards. I know you have to have a credit card to make certain purchases, like on-line purchases. But, when you get one, avoid using it. Don't even carry it with you. Just keep it around for emergencies or when that's the only way you can purchase something. And, if you can, pay it off right away. That's the best way to keep from getting caught up in too much credit card debt.

You have a good credit score. I don't think you should go for Wells Fargo card. Have you looked at the following site in their student section? They have much better cards that you can get approved for. Do the research before you apply.
