Wells Honour to swing back in the Williamhill.Com Classic – Heat 1 at Sunderland
Competing in the first heat of the Williamhill.Com Classic on Saturday, 30th June are Mountjoy Rock, Tinas Zodiac, Lenson Mac, Lily Mayday, Guinness Dusty and Wells Honour. The race will be hosted by Sunderland over 450 metres.
Wells Honour is one of the most commendable entries for the race tonight, and with 5 to 2 odds is getting the chance to rectify the sixth position that he got stuck with in the most recent outing.
Montos Mark’s two-year-old dark brindle son out of b***h, Gusty Gale, grabbed the career debut on 2nd March over 525 yards by reaching the other end of the wire in 28.65 seconds. He won by the margin of four and a half lengths with Leap On Board finishing the closest.
He then qualified as the runner up on 9th March over 525 yards after missing the race by one and a half lengths. Airforce Diva, the winner, took 28.53 seconds to settle the race.
23rd March made the A. Dawson trained claim his second success of the career. The two-year-old won a 525 yards race by covering the track distance in 28.94 seconds and enjoyed the lead of a length. Settling as the runner up was, Skywalker Kate.
After bumping into a third position on 21st April, it did not take very long for Wells Honour to fall back to the winning routine. He won a 290 metres race at Newcastle on 29th May by completing the track trip in 17.26 seconds and left the runner up, Herecomesjulie, adrift by 4 ¼ lengths.
Missing the race on 2nd July led the two-year-old towards a 416 metres training session at Monmore. Wells Honour accomplished the task in 24.78 seconds.
The very next race that came his way was a success. He won the Ladbrokes Summer Festival 416 – Heat 3 on 18th June at Monmore over 416 metres by clocking the track distance in 24.31 seconds.
Getting defeated by six lengths was the runner up, Raise Me Up.
The two-year-old is in form and shape to win the race tonight, after all he has raced only twice after the training session and has already displayed his true potential.
