Welton Arthur to stamp his opponents in The Sheffield Stadium Stayers
Welton Arthur, who was mighty impressive last time, is geared up to continue his good run in the Sheffield Stadium Stayers on Tuesday. Simply oozes class, the black dog has been performing magnificently over the past few weeks.
After going the goods at Newcastle, E. Parker’s trainee reached Sheffield at the start of this month. He gained good momentum by travelling nicely in the trials. Continuing the marvellous work, he did a great job on his penultimate outing, when missing the
gold only by a neck’s distance.
A fine run boosted up his confidence, which he utilised last time around. In a 660 metres contest, the son of Head Bound always led the proceedings, and finally seized the first rank by four and a half lengths.
Having made a couple of great rides especially the latest one, Welton Arthur is in great momentum, and can easily get the better of the rivals in today’s clash. Among his opponents are: Farloe Kyle, Aghaburren Paddy, Cape West, Storming Coco and Luke My
Lad.
According to the plan, the open event will be kicked off at 19:43 GMT. A handsome prize of 200 pounds is reserved for the successful runner.
Farloe Kyle is the second best choice for betting. The fawn dog won at Belle Vue last Tuesday, looking solid to offer more. B. Draper’s charge is certainly a pacey hound and if he gets a clear passage, his chances will surely be very bright.
Cape West is in the best form of her life. She defeated Welton Arthur on November 4th, when taking the big prize by a neck’s distance. But she needs an extra special effort to trouble the judge this time.
Luke My Lad stays well, but struggles to match this class. On his latest race at the open level, the white and black dog was third on the chart. Aghaburren Paddy can show good early pace, but it will be very hard for him to upset the plans. Storming Coco
is a nice sort, and could be a big player if performing at best. We wish all the best to the contestants.
