  3. was peeps r rude n tha hos yeh?

  4. Oh, one thing was disturbing me for years - why are the English-speaking people so annoying? Why do they say 'please' and 'thanks' that often? Can't they just nod or something? But eventually I just didn't pay attention to that. Why? Culture differences are not the things you should be caring of.

  5. Actually, I have to disagree and say that when abroad (from my experiences anyway,) the English are usually the LEAST courteous of people!

In Japan, for example, the english spoke and gesticulated wildly and loudly, whilst the natives spoke quietly and stepped softly through the city inconspicuously...

Many english people refuse to learn even the basics of another language abroad...

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate england - quite the opposite! I am a proud Englander :)

I think it depends upon which countries you visit, and the places you visit in them. In some cultures 'please' and 'thankyou' and simply reserved for when a person is TRULY grateful and that gives the words more meaning, whereas in england they are simply (generally) polite nothings.
