  1. You couldn't find it because of a little spelling mistake: it's Chambonnières, located in the Seine-et-Marne département in the Ile de France region, east of Paris (on the way to the Champagne region).

    Camping Caravaning de Chambonnières

    Château de Chambonnières

    77540 Le Plessis-Feu-Aussoux

    France

    tel. (+33) (0)1-64041585

    fax (+33) (0)1-64041336

    Opening period:

    01/01/08 - 31/12/08

    Indicative price:

High season: € 37.30 An indication of the price for a one night during the high season for a combination of 2 adults, 2 children, a car and a caravan, including an electricity charge.

This 5 hectare campsite offers you:

    • 125 Touring pitches

    • 10 Camper places

    Situation:

    • Pitches with some shade

  2. Any idea what part of France this was located in? Something tells me that the spelling might be off, so if you could at least tell us where it was, that might help. (I.e. was it in Brittany, Normandy, the Loire Valley, the Atlantic Coast, the Mediterranean Coast, etc?)

EDIT- I see that you posted this in the "Champagne-Ardenne" section, but lots of people post their question in seemingly random sections. Once I have a bit more information to work with I'll be happy to help you.

EDIT 2: Were you perhaps thinking of the Château de Chambonneau? http://www.chambonneau.com/

EDIT 3: Never mind, ChocoBN seems to have put you on the right track.
