I saw your answer that you did the paperwork and filing yourself, and was curious. How do you do that? I thought you had to have a lawyer? I understand state laws might be different, I'm just wondering...where did you get the paperwork? Thank you!

I'm not who the question was directed to- but wanted to comment that I prepared all documents needed for (and also filed for) my son's Virginia state re-adoption without a lawyer.  It was approved a year ago.  

Is that what you're looking for --readoption paperwork?
