Wenger Confident that the best is yet to come from Walcott
Theo Walcott, who managed to make a spot for himself in the England’s international team and join them for their World Cup trip in 2006 has surprised everyone as evolved in becoming a better to brilliant player.
However now the player seems to have taken the words of his critics to his heart and because of that since the start of this season, the player has been in a class of his own with stunning everyone by his skills.
The player has scored a number of goals and acquired a handful of assists. He has also managed to score a hat-trick already in the season making his ratings go sky high. The player seems to have finally come to awake and at the moment it looks like there
is nothing that can stop the player.
Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger is also confident of the fact that there is still plenty more to come from Walcott.
Last night Walcott, who was quite easily Arsenal’s man of the match, helped the Gunners overcome a resilient Newcastle side that had beaten the likes of the mighty Chelsea to progress to the next round.
The flying English man, managed to score a double in the game, however his contribution in the game cannot be summed up by just those two goals. In simple words, Walcott was immensely involved in the play making as well as the scoring.
His pace was a constant threat to the Newcastle back line and the fact that his passing and ball control have also tremendously improved over the course of the past, his threat only grew much more significantly.
Wenger who was highly delighted by the player’s performance was reported to have said: "Theo Walcott is 21 years old - that's the age where other players start to play.
"He is a very young boy and he is a very intelligent player and that's why I believe he will continue to develop normally.
"He has tremendous pace and power and he is very good in front of goal.
"The timing of his run is good and for a striker, that's the most important."
Clearly the manager is now more than just impressed by the forward, who he had brought into the side as a mere teenager. Walcott on the other hand has gone ahead and managed to repay Wenger’s trust in him, by constantly producing brilliant displays of attacking
football.
With the way things are going Arsenal are no longer a one man team, with the one man being the team’s captain Cesc Fabregas. The team is now much more balanced as more of its players are performing therefore resulting in  the team proving it has far more
depth than expected, especially than was thought about a season or two ago.
The main reason for this is the production of players like Walcott; having finally blossomed and now looking to be the world class players that Wenger had hoped for them to be.
Most people in the past questioned Wenger’s approach to managing the team and stated that introducing so many young players was just not healthy for the team on the long run. Nonetheless it seems like all those critics are now eating their words as Arsenal
now look to be one of the deadliest teams in Europe.
