Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger feels that his team is bound to improve from here on, and feels that the draw against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 was a positive result for the team, irrelevant of how anyone else feels.
In the game against Everton, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Fellaini-c24295 went on to do the same for Everton.
However, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 also returning to the team, Wenger feels the team is bound to build on its performances from here on, as they look to close in the gap on the top four and head into a Champions League spot once again.
When talking about the game, and the impact that his squad member had, and highlighting the importance of producing quality performances at a consistent basis, Wenger is reported to have said: "That's our http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 [pushing on] now, you know. We have built a new
team, we now have Jack Wilshere back and hopefully we can go from strength to strength.”
"But we have the spirit. We need some overall improvement in the final third but, overall, when you have the spirit, you have a chance. We have to show that now, we have to be consistent."
The manager was also happy with the spirit that his team showed in the game, as he feels they proved that they can fight to prove their worth in games.
"Overall we had a good physical intensity," he argued. "We had a good start and after that I feel Everton came back in it. We have regrets over the goal we conceded but overall I believe that 1-1 is a fair result. It's a good point here and it was a game
of remarkable intensity.”
Even though the game ended as a draw, given the number of games the team has played in the last couple of days, one point from an away trip to Everton would be more than enough for just about any manager.
Nonetheless, the team needs to try and bring in their best form for their upcoming game this weekend, as they look to get back to winning ways once again.
