Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger is quite happy with the progress that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 has made following his return to the Gunners squad, and he feels that the midfielder is finally close to recapturing his best form yet.
The midfielder was part of the Gunners team that went on to play against West Brom this past weekend, as the North London club went on to beat the Baggies by two goals to nil.
Both the goals in the game came via penalties, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mikel-Arteta-c25715 converted with both the chances he got in front of goal.
However, Wenger seems to be more happy with the fact that Wilshere has finally picked up his form and is now looking to play to the best of his abilities once again.
"[Wilshere] is getting closer to the player we know he is and today I think he made a big step," Said the Gunners boss.
"You could see it already this week in training, that he has gained a little burst again, a little zip in the first three or four yards.”
"That's what you have to accept in football, you have sometimes to be patient. He can only gain it by playing but of course in the first games you cannot be at that level."
The manager also went on to save a little praise for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Oxlade-Chamberlain, who he feels did good in the game, especially when he beat his marker in the second half to win the Gunners second penalty.
Wenger when talking about Chamberlain admitted that he was looking to be following almost the same path that Wilshere took, which can only mean that good things will come from the player in the future.
"I believe he is on the same trend as Jack. He is getting better, stronger, more mature, especially more determined today.”
It seems like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 might have finally gone on to get their winning form back, but for the time being the North London club can’t take any chances. The team needs to focus on their coming games, and pick up a number of wins, if they are to stand any chance
of making the top four this season.
