Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger has admitted that the Gunners will miss him once he leaves the team.
The manager has gone on to make these comments ahead of his sides match with Bayern Munich. Just about everyone expects http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 to lose the game, and the pressure has started to mount on Wenger with his team not winning any trophies for the last seven years.
The team looked to be in the driver’s seat in the FA Cup, as they were looking like one of the favourites to win the contest. However, with the team failing to beat Blackburn, it now seems like the team will have to beat Munich to stand any chance of winning
trophies this season.
Many went on to question Wenger and his future at the club, in response to which, the Gunners boss went on to state: "I am sure you will miss me when I'm gone. Look at the teams I could have managed - I will tell you one day"
When talking about his state of mind, and the fact that people feel that the manager wasn’t taking the FA Cup seriously, the Frenchman went on to add:
"I have been here for 16 years and my commitment is the same as ever," he said.
"I have been in this game for 30 years and if I was paranoid you would know already. I have worked for 16 years in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 and deserve a certain respect.”
"You can say I am doing a bad http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 but being manipulative is wrong."
"People say I don’t take the FA Cup seriously but I have won it four times. Name another manager who has won it four times," Wenger fumed.
"It is disrespectful to say I put out a weakened team because we started with 11 internationals.”
The manager seems to finally be on the brink of making his team go all out in their games. Should the team be able to do just this, they could go on and surprise everyone by coming out on top in their game against the German giants later on tonight.
