http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429’s manager, Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is more than happy with the squad that he has at hand, and feels that he will only make a signing or two if a top player is up for grabs.
The manager went on to bring in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santi-Cazorla-c32505, over the course of this transfer window and so far, many believe that he has made some of his best signings to date.
However, the manager might still move in and make a few last minute signings, just as he did last season.
When talking about his squad and whether he would go into a frenzy on the last day of the season once again, Wenger is reported to have said: "I am relaxed, we have enough players, that is for sure, but you want always to improve your squad"
“We have resources available so if it is not happening now it will happen in December.”
"But we believe strongly that we have the quality in our squad to do very well.”
“We bought Cazorla, Podolski and Giroud so you cannot say we have not bought but, when you listen to people, you always have to buy more."
At the moment, Arsenal are looking forward to getting http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bacary-Sagna-c7148 and Tomas Rosicky back in the squad.
All three of those players are currently injured and won’t be back for another couple of weeks. However, once they are back, Wenger feels the team will be at full strength and will go on to show what they can really do.
"Getting our injured players back is the best way for us to strengthen the squad.”
"We do not just want to bring average players in. Spending in itself is not a quality. Buying good players is a quality, better players than you have is a quality."
It is now a wait to see what signings Wenger makes, if any and what kinds of players he actually focuses on.
Apart from that, it is now up to the manager to prove his worth and help the team overcome their barren trophy run.
