Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger has gone on to admit that his team didn’t have the first half of the season, but feels that the second half will see the team come out with a bang.
The team is currently sitting in the seventh spot due to the poor performances that they have been putting in. However, should they manage to capitalize on their game in hand, they could go on and climb up the table to claim the fourth spot.
The Gunners boss feels that his team is finally starting to show character and it is now only a matter of time before they start putting in the performances start improving.
“We will [do better in the second half of the season],” Wenger told reporters.

“We are behind our schedule and we have to make up the points we miss at the moment. We just want to win the next game.”
“Football is not as mathematical as that. We have played many away games, we have a good home run until the end of the season.”

“Our team has grown together, because we rebuilt the team at the start of the season. Overall what is important for us is to improve the quality of our displays and focus just on that. Points will come.”
The manager then went on to reflect on the issue of fans standing in the terraces, as Sunderland went on to ban a massive thirty eight fans for conducting themselves in a similar manner recently.

“If they have somebody behind them, of course [supporters should be forced to sit], because people can't see the game,” he said.

“They have paid for seating places and you want to be in a position where you get what you pay for.

“Sunderland are right [to ban supporters for standing]. I would love people to be able to stand and I would love to have people behind the goal for example. But if it is only seating, you cannot stand up.”
