Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger is confident that his side will improve from here on, as he thinks that a little fine tuning could help the team become very lethal.
The North London club are currently the only team in the league that has failed to score, but at the same time the team has also not conceded any goals this season.
Many feel that the team has not been able to replace http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 as yet, but Wenger feels that it is only a matter of time, before the new players prove their true worth to the team.
"It is never disastrous to take a point at Stoke but we lack a little bit of oil in our engine in the final third.”
"I still feel on one hand it is two points dropped but overall we know at the end of the season that Stoke is a difficult team to play against. They can always win games here and today they were highly committed."
The manager claimed that his team needed to work on their finishing, but feels that it is going to require just a little more hard work, before the team truly becomes lethal.
The club’s newest recruits, Cazorla, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896 and Olivier Giroud, were all a part of the starting eleven, and with them geling together so easily at this stage in the season, is something that has impressed Wenger.
"What looks completely natural when we are at our best still is not there, and we have to work on that, by practising on how we want to move, on the quality of the final pass," he commented.
"Today we had Giroud, Podolski and Cazorla together up front - one month ago they didn't know each other. It is the department where we have the most new players."
Wenger has admitted that he is still in the transfer window and is still looking to sign players, should the right one come along.
If the manager happens to bring in two more worth additions to his team, then the club could go on and start pushing towards winning a trophy or two this season.
