Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger has gone on to reveal that he isn’t too concerned about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Abou-c3451 Diaby’s knock, as he feels the French international will be back sooner rather than later.
The Gunners midfielder was on display for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Finland-c2898 and he went on to put in a brilliant display, which saw him score a goal and help his side pick up the three points from the game.
However, he managed to pick up a late muscular injury, which many deemed to be a rather serious concern for the North London club.
Diaby initially went on to pick up a series of injuries in 2006, when he fractured his ankle. Since then, the player has spent more time on the sidelines receiving treatment for his injuries, as opposed to actually playing for the team.
Despite that fact, Wenger isn’t too worried about his latest injury. The manager thinks this knock is rather minor and has even gone on to claim that the midfielder could be on display for the team, this weekend.
When talking about Diaby, his injury and how serious it might be, Wenger is reported to have said: "[The injury] doesn't seem serious to me at all. He has a small chance of playing on Saturday."
The French national team’s manager, Dider Deschamps has also gone on to confirm that the player is suffering from muscular discomfort, which ruled him out of the team’s games in the immediate future.
Deschamps is quoted to have said:"Diaby took a bad shot and he has muscular discomfort. He is not free in his movements."
The towering midfielder has really come to life this season and has been running the show for the Gunners, like no one thought he ever could.
His performances have been phenomenal and the fact that Wenger actually waited two years for him to recover, just goes to prove that he is a special talent.
Nonetheless, with the latest setback that the player has suffered, the manager will be looking to try and get him to recover as early as possible, considering the fact that the Gunners can’t afford to drop any points this season, due to player injuries.
