Despite Arteta being injured, Wenger is certain that his team can still go on and win their game against Newcastle. He feels that the team has proven that they have the quality and the determination to go on and end up finishing the season on top, which is something that is going to prove to be crucial at this stage.
"It's all open. But it depends on our result. Even third place is not out of sight if we win our game," the Gunners boss added.
"I am confident, because we have experience. Because we play for a long time now under massive pressure and have always found solutions for the problems we've faced, so I'm confident."
Wenger then went on to end by talking about the game against Wigan. He admitted that he was a little surprised to see Wigan level things in the game, but at the same time, he admitted that once his side scored their second goal, the match was over.
"When we scored the second goal it was a massive blow for Wigan and they never recovered from that and then it became a comfortable game, we scored three and four," conceded Wenger.
