Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger has gone on to urge his team to focus, as they look to maintain their good form over the remainder of the season.
The Gunners boss believes that his side have picked up the form that is needed to see out the season on a high. However, at the same time he has insisted that the team can’t afford to suffer any hiccups along the way. The Frenchman then went on to urge his squad to maintain their focus, as they looked to continue their hot streak, which has seen them win seven games on the run.
When talking about just what his team needs to do, the manager is quoted to have said: "This is the period where what we do matters the most, so we just want to keep our focus on this and not worry about anybody else's results"
"We have shown footballing and mental qualities in recent weeks and now we need to continue our development."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 are now set to take on QPR this coming weekend, as they look to win their 8th game on the run. Given the form that the team is in, many believe that the club would easily be able to achieve this feat.
Wenger didn’t want to get too confident about his squad and how they were playing, hence he kept insisting that just about anything could happen at this point in the season.
The manager then went on to claim that despite Tottenham trailing the Gunners by three points, they could still go on and over take them, should the North London club lose their focus for even one second.
"We are now at the stage of the season where every day in the Premier League seems to have turning points," Wenger added.
"What is most important now is our consistency and momentum."
With the ball now in Arsenal’s court, it is up to the North London club to go on and end their season in the third spot, as they look to ensure automatic Champions League qualification for themselves.
It is now a wait till the end of the season to see just who finishes third and who finishes fourth.
