Went fishing to at kent narrows chesapeak bay and saw wierd bugs ?

well as i was fishing there was these giant rolli polli /potato bug look a.like crawing on and under neath the rock jetty i was fishing of jus trying to find out what they are because i watched them eat a hole in a fish today

I really don't know, but it'd be great if you have a picture. What color was it? I can't really identify what it is without more information.... or pictures....

They're called pier roaches. It's a marine bug that feeds on just about anything left on a pier. They are also found around jetties, boat docks and so on. There's a link on the bottom for you to check out.~good luck catchin'.
