Hi all, i visited central london yesterday, im not originally from there. While travelling i heard "congestion charge" said by the tom tom, puzzled, i checked on google when i got back and read more about it, apparently it was a congestion zone and realised we had gone in it but i never knew or heard about this before, Mon to Fri its £8 and saturdays £2, failiure to pay is £120 and £60 within 14 days, but i was not notified about it, unless i get a letter through the door, what to be done now? thanks for any advice. P.s was a saturday when i went.

  1. Go to any shop and tell them you want to pay they will ask you for the registration plate number and you tell them and  then give them the money and its done.

Best advice is simply to pay the fine of £60 within the 14 day time slot otherwise it's going up to £120 and if they have to come after you, they will simply send in the bailiffs to grab your furniture to pay what you owe.

    Sorry about that.

  3. ignore it, looks like you got away with it =D

  4. No worries the congestion charge does not apply on weekends

  5. There is no congestion charge on a saturday, so you dont need to worry, you will have passed signs either painted on the road or on posts at the start of the zone, a big letter c lets you know you are entering it have a look at this link http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/roadusers/cong...

  6. Dont worry, no charge on Saturday

  7. you dont have to pay on a saturday dude!
