Went to the dentist and i got a ?

i was worried about a cavity on the right side of my mouth, he said the cavity was pretty decent size (about a 1cm black line), he said my pain was from grinding and wisdom teeth, But i worried about that cavity that its going to hit the pulp, do u think my dentist would have informed me if the cavity was close to the pulp

If your dentist is of any worth, they would and should inform you of any dangers of your cavity and the urgency to get it fixed and filled. You did not mention getting it fixed, so if your worry is between now and then, your dentist should be looking out for you and you will be fine.

if it was something that would eventually lead to a rootcanal he would of told you, but since he didnt tell you i expect that the cavity is nowere near root.
