Wentworth Minor expected to win The Owners Bonus Series – Heat 1
The P. Sanderson-trained brindle dog, Wentworth Minor, possesses all the personas that will lead him well to claim the title of The Owners Bonus Series – Heat 1 here at Sheffield racecourse on Tuesday night, July 3. The GradeA3 race over 500 meters is scheduled
to commence at 20:58 (GMT).
In the £89 race, the three-year-old veteran hound will compete against five worthy rivals after breaking from the blue box.
Wentworth Minor has good record in A3 format but most of the time in his career he has run and won A4 races.
Since the beginning of 2012, the dashing dog has been winning with regular intervals. During the last couple of months, he made some glaring marks.
In May, the brilliant son of Kinloch Brae out of Wentworth Which elegantly accomplished two triumphs over 500 meters at Sheffield.
The maverick sprinter moved ahead to repeat the same in June---the venue and the format were again the same where he had thrived previously.
In his last A3 outing entitled as James Brown I Feel Good 18th Birthday Chase, the skilled hound finished third.
Wentworth Minor has plenty of experience at Sheffield where he will show his guts in tonight’s marathon. Thus, he has more than 90 percent chances to thrive.
On his way towards the finish line, the dog will have to face a lot of resistance from Swift Oasis. The M. Cutler-trained brindle b***h has also accomplished some iconic feats since the dawn of the calendar year.
During May-June, the daughter of Kinloch Brae out of Swift Pewter delivered some outstanding performances. After winning two A6 races over 500 meters in the month of May, the brilliant b***h grabbed an A5 and an A4 victory in June while being a favourite
for both the events.
The young and energetic sprinter nicely finished as a runner-up in her last A3 event entitled as A3 500m Flat, held on June 29.
These stats show that the b***h will give enough tough time to Wentworth Minor who needs to employ an audacious and offensive strategy to cope with this challenge. Let us enjoy the charged action at Sheffield. Good luck to all the six hounds.
