Werder Bremen goalkeeper Tim Wiese admits he can leave in the summer- Bundesliga news
Werder Bremen goalkeeper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tim-Wiese-c35108 has admitted that there are chances that he could leave in next summer’s transfer window when his contract expires. The player stated that he loves the club and wants to stay but there has not
been any talk with him for a possible new deal which is why he does not want to risk his career.
The German international’s current contract with the Bundesliga club ends in June next year. Bremen had earlier hinted that negotiations with manager Thomas Schaaf and Tim Wiese would start soon for a new deal but the talks have
not started as of yet and Wiese is concerned about his future.
Tim Wiese claimed that he has been a loyal servant for the club in the past seven years and has represented the team in the German Cup finals and in Europe and would love to stay. The shot stopper admitted that he is still open
to sign a new contract at the club if the chance is provided to him.
“I simply just do not know. I am seven years with Werder Bremen at this point in time. I have played a lot in European Cup competitions, played three German Cup finals and like my http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 at the club. I am still open to everything,”
he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former FC Kaiserslautern player hailed Werder Bremen’s brilliant start to the season and is hopeful of a successful year in the league. Die Werderaner are currently third on the league standings table with 23 points from the
12 games played and are five points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
“Bremen is a top club. We have been top of the Bundesliga at times. We played good matches in Europe. This is a good success,” he concluded.
Thomas Schaaf’s side will next play Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, November 19, at the Borussia Park. They will be looking to secure their eighth win of the season to keep up with the likes of Bayern Munich and Borussia
Dortmund.
The team is coming from an impressive 3-2 win over FC Koln in the previous fixture.
