Werder Bremen goalkeeper Tim Wiese has stated that he wants his contract sorted out before the season ends. The German international has admitted that his agent already has an offer from a top club and wants to know about his future
before it is too late.
The goalkeeper had been linked to a host of European clubs in the summer transfer window when Bremen confirmed that the player, at that point of time, would not be offered a contract extension. Bundesliga club Schalke were also

Wiese insisted that he wants his future to be sorted out as soon as possible as his agent has had an offer from a top club. He expressed his frustration regarding the uncertainty surrounding his future at the club and does not
want to wait at the end of the campaign for the decision. He remained hopeful that meetings will be held between him and the club officials before January so that he can reach a decision.
“My agent already has the name of a top club up his sleeve if the story with Bremen goes to the end of the chapter. Of course, I want to be able to plan and I will not wait until the end of the season, but I think the talks will
be conducted before the winter break,” the shot stopper was quoted as saying in an interview.
The German international stressed on the importance of keeping key players at the club. He insisted that players like Claudio Pizarro and Clemens Fritz should also be offered new contracts as they are players who can make an impact.
He also wants Bremen to keep Thomas Schaaf to stay as manager of the club for many more years.

Tim Wiese has so far made 171 league appearances for Werder Bremen.
