The Weserstadion outfit has agreed to sell the midfielder to the Brazilian club for an undisclosed fee.
Brazilian outfit, Palmeiras, have completed the transfer of Werder Bremen’s defensive midfielder Wesley http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lopes-c22413 Beltrame.
Wesley was finding life difficult at Bremen, where he was presented with only a limited number of opportunities during his two-year stay. Bremen sporting director, Klaus Allofs, also confirmed about the player’s departure and stated
that Palmeiras have completed all the formalities for the transfer.
While addressing the club’s official website, Allofs further added:
"After we had agreed some time ago with the leaders of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Palmeiras-c40165 on the transfer fee, now all the bank guarantees have been received, which were necessary for the protection of the payments.”
Allofs also mentioned that the Brazilian outfit expressed their interest in the player at the end of last year but incomplete documentation delayed the deal.
The Brazilian midfielder had fallen down the pecking order of midfielders at Bremen and had earlier expressed his frustration on the lack of playing time. It was expected that the midfielder would leave the club in January but
a deal could not finalise.
"Although the transfer has dragged on, we were always in constant contact with leaders of Palmeiras, and all the agreements and deadlines were met," Allofs concluded.

Bremen are looking to benefit from the player’s transfer fee by adding young players to their squad for a better 2012/13 campaign. The River Islanders are currently sixth in the Bundesliga with 36 points and fighting for a top-four
