Die Werderaner are currently second on the Bundesliga standings table with 13 points from the six games played. Bremen have lost only once in the current season and only two points adrift of the leaders Bayern Munich.
Ignjovski claimed that the Premier League is the most competitive league in the world as it is a very balanced competition. He stated that the atmosphere in the stadiums in England is brilliant and said that there is great passion
and loyalty in the fan following.
“The Premier League is my No.1. It is balanced, best fits my style. And the atmosphere in the stadiums is incredible,” the midfielder was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former 1860 Munich player revealed that Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is his favourite player and the one he idolises. He also added that he loves http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dani-c9867 Alves’ game and tries to learn from him as he has to play as a full-back
sometimes.
“Actually, Liverpool's Steven Gerrard, but now I play fullback. Because I like Dani Alves to Barcelona. A great guy!” he continued.
The Serbian Under-21 international stated that it is his aim to win the Bundesliga title one day but admitted that he would be happy with a top-four finish at the end of the season. He claimed that Werder Bremen had a dismal season
last term and a finish amongst the top four teams would be a huge success.
“My goal is always to win the title. But this season the Champions League is a success,” he concluded.
Aleksandar Ignjovski made 25 appearances for 1860 Munich during his loan spell last season before his transfer to Werder Bremen in the summer. He has so far appeared two times for the Bremen side and is yet to score his first goal.
