Werder Bremen’s Marko Marin says ‘NO’ to Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool – Bundesliga News
Werder Bremen midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marko-Marin-c24198, has rejected offers from two English Premier League outfits, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. The two sides showed interest in the youngster at the conclusion of the 2010/11 season. Unlike Bremen, which finished in
the bottom half of the table, Marin had a decent campaign individually.
Bremen officials have stated that they are in no mood to sell the 22-year-old at this point in time and no bid will be accepted in this regard. They were clear in their stance that the German is an asset for the club and his continuously growing graph indicates

Marin’s agent, Fali Ramadani, also confirmed about the interest from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904. He added that both clubs have already been told that the youngster is not up for sale and any
offers concerning the player’s transfer won’t be entertained.
The German international claimed that he learned a lot while playing for Bremen and wants to stay at the club. He told that his future lies with the River Islanders for the time being and he would repay the work done by the club in order to make him a perfect
footballer.
The 22-year-old further mentioned, "I want to stay at Werder. I feel good at Bremen. I have never had the urge to leave. I want to be successful here, and that is my only aim.” The player concluded by saying, "If the club receives an offer and decides to
sell me, that is another situation. Until then I am happy here."
The midfielder joined the River Islanders in 2009 and has gained a lot of accolades for himself since then. During his two-year stint, Marin has managed 64 league appearances to date, netting in seven goals for the club. He also has 16 international caps
for the German national side and has one goal to show from those appearances.
It is confirmed that neither the player nor the club would accept any bids, which means that Marin would stay at Bremen for the time being.
