Were Adolf Hitler's parents Jewish?

I have heard that Adolf Hitler's grandparents were Jewish and because of that he grew up hatting the Jewish people because his grandparents would abuse him. I'm not sure if they were the grandparents from his mother's or father's, but if you look around the history channel you might see a special on it. I am only 89% sure though because I have looked at other sites and they have said no.
