Were Nastia Liukin and Yang Yilin robbed?

Anyone else think Nastia AND Yang Yilin were robbed? Nastia was clearly screwed by the lowball scores from the Australian judge. Yang Yilin turned in a more perfect routine than Nastia with the same start value, even He thought she had won when she gave Yang a little congratulatory lift up after her routine. Nastia and her dad have also said that Yang was also underscored as well. If the judges were biased by nationality otherwise they could have given it to Yang instead of He.

I dont think Nastia was robbed honestly.  However, Yilin was.  She definitely should have won the gold.  The judges are not necessarily biased by nationality.  It is more so the fact that they are biased by reputation (hence the vault final result with Cheng Fei winning).

as far as nastia l. or yilin being robbed, I don't know because I'm not a qualified Olympic judge. But I think they should come up with a better way of breaking ties, one thats not so controversial or just give them both gold medals.

I don't know why they can't just give out two gold medals still if the gymnasts both deserve it. Nastia's highest and lowest scores were still higher than the other Chinese girl's and it's just really unfortunate that it had to come down to the second lowest score, which didn't benefit Nastia at all.

alot of these women's gymnastics events look like something happened that should not have. starting from nastia and that tie breaker to sacramone on the beam dropping her out of medal contention even though that chinese gymnasts had the worst fall an got no deduction

Oh sorry didn't realise you were a Olympic Games quality Gymnastics judge.  Why are you not there judging?  Couldn't afford the trip?  Bet they are dissappointed that you were not able to make it and they now have to use a 2nd rate professional judge instead.

Absolutely. When China hosts the Olympics, I see that its very biased and that when Nastia had won Gold in Individual All Around, the judges apparently decided that she didnt need another one and that she would be fine....

Actually, He Kexin did not do well at all in my opinion, and especially on the landing was quite pitiful, unlike Nastia's graceful and pixielike elegance on the uneven bars, and she did have a GOLD Olympic landing that was PERFECT!!!!

Yang Yilin also had a almost-perfect stuck landing, and slightly better than her Chinese companion, He Kexin.

Nastia should have had GOLD hands down, and I'm not saying this as an American, I'm saying this as a person who thinks that fairness is the best quality in olympics.
