Were animals killed to make Minnetonka Moccasin boots?

I asked this question under food and drink< Vegetarians and vegans. Because i kind of figured that a vegetarian/ vegan would know the answer...

  1. If the boots are leather, then an animal was killed and their skin used to make the boots.

    The label will show what the boot is made of.

  3. No animals were killed to make the boots.  They were killed for the meat.  Leather is just a byproduct.

  4. Traditional moccasins are made of deerskin with rawhide laces.
