  1. As the Pyramids are in Egypt and Egypt is in Africa, the answer is yes.

  2. Here's also a little thought also.  The Egyptians were probably in skin tone closer to dark skinned Africans rather than Mediterranean looking.

Geographically I would say the answer is yes they were African, but culturally they were closer to Middle Eastern because of their interaction with the rest of the Middle East and Mediterraneans.

  3. The ancient Egyptian Pharaohs originated from "North Africa" so in this sense, yes "African Kings" were buried in the Egyptian pyramids. The Pyramids of Egypt were the enduring symbols of Ancient Egyptian civilization. Ancient Egypt was a civilization in eastern North Africa concentrated along the middle to lower reaches of the Nile River. Most pyramids were built during the Old and Middle Kingdom periods for the royal tombs of Egyptian pharaohs. The first historically documented Egyptian pyramid is attributed to the architect Imhotep, who planned what Egyptologists believe to be a tomb for the pharaoh Djozer. The Great Pyramid of Giza was believed to be build for Pharaoh Khufu, and Khafre's Pyramid, is the second largest of the Ancient Egyptian Pyramids of Giza and the tomb of the fourth-dynasty pharaoh Khafre.

  4. Egypt IS in Africa. So yes, African kings were buried in pyramids. However, further afield than Egypt- no other kings were buried in pyramids.

  5. yeah, king Kijaharo 56-77B.C., of ghana was buried in a pyramid along with 5,000lbs of gold

  6. As for Pharaohs of Nubian ancestry (which is I believe what you are searching for), in 712 BCE a single dynasty ruled both Egypt and Nubia, restoring Egypt to its old traditions after the defeat of the Hyksos kings. Also in 760 BCE, the Nubian King Kashta seized control of Lower (Northern) Nubia from the Egyptians and conquered Upper (Southern) Egypt.  By 730 BCE King Piye had also conquered Lower (Northern) Egypt, establishing the 25th Dynasty.  He also built pyramids in Kush.

    mation.   Please.
