Sure, I don't think he ever won a race, but at least he begat Sterling. And it's so fun to say his name! More fun than d**k Trickle, and less likely to get you slapped!

a little before my fandom truly began, but you're right about his name... and his son's.  

it's great fun to watch old races where the announcers are calling out his name...
