Were can I get A working permit when i'm homeschooled?

I'm 14 yearz old (bout to be 15!!) , I live in Detroit Michigan?

  2. First check your state's employment website - scroll down to the second page on this link: http://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/...

    As I suspected, you have to go to the permit issuing official at your local school, public or private or "non public" school. My daughter is homeschooled and all we had to do was call the local superintendents office and make an appointment to stop by and get the paper work. No big deal.

    I'm not sure about Michigan law but I would think it would be your parents who would fill it out since they are your teacher/principal/ authority.
