San Carlo..one of the best Italian restaurants ever, and i know good food, ive been a chef for 8yrs and cooked in America and Britain, i had a great time there, also they came to the table with a free bottle of wine for me and my girlfriend..can't say fairer than that.

It depends what you fancy.  Bella Italia (on New Street), Pizza Hut or if you want to spend lots San Carlo, which is located off one of the side road near Birmingham Cathedral.

I agree with Lisa P.  Big Wok (Wrottesley St, Chinese Quarter) or balti (Diwan on Alcester Rd on the way out of Moseley towards Birmingham) are good choices and will not break the bank.
