hi does anyone no were i can buy a IR filter on line for my 30mw laser pointer any links would be great thanks

  1. People please, if you don't know the answer, don't post.  He's talking about a GREEN laser!  One way to make green laser light is to frequency double IR light, hence the need for a filter.


  2. Lasers put out very narrow spectrum light.  It is unlikely that a red (visible) pointer would put out any significant amount of IR radiation to pass through the filter.  Edmund Optical if you insist.

      Infrared radiation has wavelengths between about 750 nm and 1 mm, spanning three orders of magnitude.
