are you a beginner? you can buy a decent club at sportsmarts or big 5 you can also try at golfsmith they have pre-owned clubs.

If your in the Uk, American golf have good sales on just need to keep an eye out for when the sales are on, i picked up a set of regals for my wifes dad for 35 quid perfect first set,
